This program is developed for beginning and 'wanna be' designers.
We almost all start out, when we discover digital scrapbooking, as creative team members or just making pages/layouts for personal use. But at one point a lot of us are wondering if we can make our own products. How to do that? And what if you want to design not only for your own personal albums or pages, but for a digital scrapbook store? And maybe sell your products?
For a lot of people this becomes a desire and mostly it stays one. Simply because they don't know where to start. And if they do start, it's difficult to get your products out there and be noticed.
I've been through this process myself.
'Been there, done that'!
Although I've learned SO much in the last couple of years, I'm still not done learning. I have experienced a lot about, of course, how to design, the techniques, about quality. I've been in several shops, I've had shops of my own, guiding designers and creative team members. But every project, every day in the scrapping world, still teaches me a lot.
What I've learned so far... I want to share. In this step-by-step program you will have the chance to get at that point where I am now.
If you want to, that is!

This program holds...
You will be guided in making your own digital scrapbook products. That can be mini kits, alpha, a paper pack or even a full kit. If you already have created some products yourself, we will evaluate and check them and maybe talk them through if you have doubt about it or whatever other help you want. We go into all the details. Like how to folder it, naming, zipping, terms of use, previews, blinkies etc.
You will learn why it's important to have a Blog and/or Facebook.
You will learn some about promoting. Like CTM enabling at some big scrapbook related forums, about RAKs, Freebies, and having a creating team.

Requirements to be considered for this program
You need to know some about graphic software like for example Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro. If you can make your own pages/layouts, you also can manage to create digital products.
It's also very useful if you have integrated some CU brushes, actions and styles in your graphic software. There is a LOT of FREE stuff out there. Just find it. This is not much of an requirement as well as it is just very useful. Most graphic software already have some brushes, styles and actions integrated. For quality checks of your products this action (for Photoshop) by Boop Designs will be very useful.
Contact will go through e-mail, but for screen sharing we need to use Team Viewer. It's free and easy to set up. This allows us to share screens and look into each others work while creating it. MSN and/or Skype is also a possibility.
Cost will be $25.00. This includes guidens untill you are set up as a designer and ready to go out there with some products to show.
Really appreciated would be to spread the word about Pixelpress and this program.
NOTE!
This program does NOT guarantee you will be a well selling designer. I do NOT make any promises that you will make it out there in the digi scrapping world. Finding a shop and get your products selling, is your own responsibility. Making it as a designer isn't that hard, but try to get people buying products, is! As the market has been overflowed, it will be difficult to stand out and create a well profitable business.
